A must do trek for those who love adventure. It is a moderate level trek. The best time to visit Triund Trek is august to November. I observed that it was a little bit crowded trek. The trek distance is around 6 to 9 km.
Key points to note:
You are not allowed to take alcohol with yourself.
The trek starts from morning around 6 o’clock and you will not be allowed to go for trekking after 5 pm.
The route for the trek starts from the McLeod Ganj.
The trek route is not much steep, so that this trek is good for first time trekkers.
The food is expensive at Triund on top of the mountain.
I would recommend you to take your goods with you from McLeod Ganj.
From Triund you can also go further for snow line and Laka Glacier Trekking.

You can do a camping there and a cost of one tent vary to the Distributer but minimum he will ask for 500 rupees per person.
