Tropicano Beach Resort is one the best resort I have ever stayed.
This resort is located in North Goa’s Candolim beach and is hardly 100 metres away from the beach. This beach is one of North Goa’s best beaches and most favored beach of the Europeans.
It’s not a luxury resort, but it has everything one needs in a resort like neat and clean rooms with small balcony, AC, refrigerator, closet and toilet with shower having hot & cold water. They do provide towels and bed linen. It’s a small resort having about 12 rooms and is maintained by a couple there. The resort has a small garden, very well maintained. They do not have a restaurant of their own, but they do provide tea, coffee and breakfast on request. The resort is located very close to the main street of candolim having all good restaurants around like Inferno, Just Chinese, Fisherman’s Cove, the Jazz Corner to name a few. All facilities like hiring a bike, taxi, ayurveda massage, cyber cafe, ATMs are within walking distance.
Sightseeing places like Fort Aguada, Calngute beach, Baga beach, Anjuna flea market are within few kilometres drive. Goa ’s capital city Panjim is also within 10km from there.
The days here can be spent on the beach shacks taking sun bath and eating sea foods and nights can be spent at night clubs like Tito’s, Mambo’s, Club Westend, Club Cubana.
While in Goa, shopaholics must visit Anjuna flea market on wednesdays and Ingo’s night market on saturdays nights.
The tariff of this resort is like INR 800 per night for an AC room, which is peanuts - the owner is just not money minded.
To conclude, Tropicano beach resort is simply a home away from home.
