We chose Trueway Packers and Movers after comparing their rates with Agarwal Packers and Movers and reading reviews online. Initially, they quoted ₹8, 225 for transporting my washing machine and fridge from Hyderabad to kottarakkara, thalavoor. Their rate seemed reasonable compared to Agarwal, so we decided to proceed with them.
However, the entire experience turned out to be a nightmare. After picking up our items and moving them to their warehouse, they suddenly demanded an additional amount before initiating the shipment. Trapped in the situation and unable to do much, we reluctantly paid the full amount.
They promised delivery within seven days, but it took them an agonizing 17 days to deliver my belongings. To make matters worse, they don’t even have their own transport for door-to-door delivery. Instead, they used a third-party courier service(Delhivery) to send our items. Upon receiving my brand-new washing machine, I was horrified to find it damaged.
My sincere advice: Do not choose packers and movers solely based on rates and online reviews. Always evaluate their track record, service history, and credibility. This experience has taught me that cheaper options often come with hidden costs and poor service.
