Since I cudnt find column for Hotel Tamilnadu Udgamandalam(ooty) so Im writting here. It is the place which has excellent location , courteous staff, average decore of the rooms & good view.
I stayed there from 6th feb 2009 to 9th feb 2009. it is close to the main market but far from the chaos . People here are always eager to serve you. There are always on their toes. Very nice view of the Nilgiris. Double room has got the common lawn in front of each room which serves the purpose of private lawn.
Tariff in offseason is just Rs 500/ per day & if you are staying for 3 consecutive days you will get a discount of 10 % which will be adjusted in Tax. Reataurant is quite average. a well stocked bar is there on first floor.if you are a budget traveller than this is the best place to live in.
