The Bollywood star Salman Khan released his not so long awaited movie tubelight. Even The trailer of the movie recieved harsh criticism from the indian social media. With trolls about the movie being copied from a hollywood movie Little Boy.
That was definitely not a good start for the movie.
Salman Khan’s movies are know for their unique messages that each of his produced movies carry. So was the case in this movie, but unfortunately as it would seem it failed to reach the public.
In my opinion the movie is not worth watching. The story is dull and uninteresting the plot is almost the same as the Hollywood movie Little Boy.
PLOT-
To put it simply the plot is too simple minded and dull. It tells us the story of two brothers one being mentally disturbed( Salman Khan) and the other( Sohail Khan) . During the time of India-China war at the border of India, in which one of the brothers has gone to participate.
This plot almost is the same as Little Boy which is a movie about a boy whose father has gone to participate in the war versus Japan during world war II.
The story is plain and simple with a happy ending sometimes it felt as like a Disney princess movie. Whereas we Indians are used to seeing the protagonists die in many of our Blockbusters. So expecting a movie like this to top the list is unreal.
Performance & Cast-
Salman’s acting was not exceptional. It was not bad at the same time not good either. On the other hand Sohail Khan who got less amount of screen time was terrible. His expressions and performance was not convincing at all. Over all the performance of the staff was below average.
CINEMATOGRAPHY-
The location of the movie was good, although the movie did not utilise that to its own benifit fully. There were scopes to make it more creative but no such efforts were made.
Cinematography was average in all.
I would definitely not recommend you to watch this movie as it is a complete waste of time. It does not carter to the tastes of the audience of India.
