Tubelight movie could not impress us the way the bajrangi bhaijaan did. the acting of salman could not recreate the magic as emotional acting is not salman’s thing. The main drawback in the movie that I found which many people failed to review is the lack of background music. be it any emotional movie the real emotions are portrayed on screen with the help of emotional background music.
plot: the movie is inspired from the hollywood movie little boy. In the story sohail goes out at the warfront with china. the movie is set in the backdrop of indo-sino war and salman is a mentally retarted brother of sohail in the movie who tries to bring his brother back.
performance; the performance of salman khan disappointed us this time. the side characters were fine and not to forget the veteran late shri om puri ji.
music: music, music, music the main reason behind tubelight receiving such criticism. I don’t know how could salman and kabir khan make such a mistake as their previous movie bajrangi bhaijaan had such powerful music that it was alone enough to move the public
cinematography; cinematography was fine, nothing special here. the war sequences were captured aptly.
final verdict: I wouldn’t say it’s a bad movie but it wasn’t a great movie either
