I spent a bit and booked the most comfy seats in PVR Mulund to enjoy the "spectacle" of Tum Mile. Resting comfortably on the reclining chairs I waited as trailers of an "alarming" looking "Paa" movie blazed across the screen n my sleepy eyes lit up in "un" anticipation of what was coming in the weeks to come
The movie started with some ignorant souls of Mumbais Met department being shown partying on a rainy night in utter disregard to the warming/metrics/figures that their Intel Core 2 Duos with a 17" flat LCD screen were showing (Wonder if the Met department has those).
What was to come had little of the 26 July rain and more of a love story gone sour. I was disappointed. The people who advertsed this movie conveniently cheated us. The movie was advertised in a way that gave the impression that it was all about the rains and how love blossomed in those moments. That certainly wasnt the case.
The movie was slow. There were errors in editing. The acting wasnt good. There was no practically on chemistry working between the two lead actors. The emotions looked fake as well. When the movie ended I thought it was raining more on the streets of Mumbai in November than it rained in the entire movie.
