Tumblr is a blogging website.It is used to create blogs.Personally I don’t like it.AS it is really tough for beginner to use.
If you are really willing to create a blog then there are a lot of blogging site available.
I don’t like tumblr because as I think it does not have the ability to compete with other blogging sites available.
Tumblr also lacks the layout.There are many layouts available but for money.If we will talk about free design or layout there is very less as compared to other sites.If you really want a blog I would recommend wordpress or blogger or twitter to you.I would once more say this website is not as good as compared to others.
Why to go to tumblr when there much better websites available.
Main disadvantages are
1) Not user friendle
2) Lack or less amount of layout.
3) There are advertisement on the layout available for free
The name of the designer of the layout is written and a link advertisement is also there.
4) Not for user who are beginner
