TK5 on Sept 19 to Chicago from Istanbul airport. Chicago was on marque showing Gate 219, 2 hours before flight tome.
30 minutes before flight time Chicago disappeared. After reaching TA Customer Service Desk we were told we missed our flight! We were standing there with over 100 other passengers who also were told they missed their flight. For approximately we and these passengers pleaded and fought with TA staff about the situation. TA staff extremely rudely closed the desk and left. Left to wait until morning to address the situation, we were all told we had to repurchase new tickets to fly that morning. Same flight time as the day before. It cost us $900 USD to do this to get out of this awful stop. TA held us hostage plan and simple
