When you have Prabhudheva in a film, you expect the music to be foot tapping. Soundtrack of Tutak Tutak Tutiya is no different. The playlist opens with Rail Gaddi sung by Navraj Singh, son of famous Punjabi singer Hans Raj Hans. Its a typical Punjabi track with rap interludes, which could have been easily avoided as they are a slight misfit. The beats, however, manage to hold your interest and make it a good dance number. Next is Wajids Chal Maar, which is a total tapori number. It will remind you of Prabhus earlier films like R. Rajkumar and Ramaiya Vastavaiya. It starts on a slow note but the tempo picks up gradually and by the end of it, you start grooving to it.
This is followed by the title track Tutak Tutak Tutiya. The famous Punjabi rendition has been mixed and remixed several times. Though theres nothing original, it manages to make an impact. Love The Way You Dance is yet another dance number and you will surely shake your head while listening to it. A good party track, it has a huge Punjabi influence, too. Again, the rap interludes could have easily been done away with as they dont add much to the tempo. Although its not memorable, you will not be able to ignore it, thanks to its rhythm. Chalte Chalte, sung by Arijit Singh, has romantic undertones but this is not one of his best works. Suku Suku has a lot of western influences. The lyrics tend to get lost with the songs tempo. Ranga Re is yet another romantic number with a slight rock touch to it. Sung by Shreya Ghoshal, it gives a break from the otherwise loud album.
Overall, the album is peppy and keeps you hooked.
