Ppl,
this is my first review, and what a way to start, writing abt the Apache.
Folks, I just got my machine yesterday(red) :)) . I cant begin to describe its looks, its one lean mean machine. Its got the stance of a cheetah waiting to pounce.
But if u r looking for a large machine, then this is not the one. Like I said, its got a very swelte look to it, its well defined creases adding to its masculine and sculpted looks.
I got a 2000 CBZ(still in top condition, red too). When placed alongside each other, the Apache looks like a little brother to the Maestro, but much more modern looking.
It appears smaller than the DTSI too. Havent ridden the baby hard, cos its a new one, sure promises oodles of performance, but iam restraining my right wrist for a few hundred KMs. I tried its braking, though not at high speeds, its good too.
I cant say enuf, looks wise its an absolute killer :))
And I got the boader tyre, looks like thats the standard fitment and the narrower tyre is optional. Its a 100 / 80, hence when viewed from the side looks thinner than the CBZ or the DTSI.
The ride is good too, though Iam yet to test it out at high speeds.
Will post more info as I drive her more.
cheers,
b
