Hi All,
Its a really stupid bike.
When I was buying(Apache RTR 160) it, I thought Ill be different from others, every one is buying Pulsor/Karizma/CBZ, Ill go for TVS, as when I was buying Yellow Apache was just in the market.
But TVS made me to feel in very little time that I was wrong by choosing them.
1.Vibration:Apache RTR 160 starts giving vibration at 55kmph. If you cross, 60kmph, youll feel like you are sitting on vibrating chair.
2.Gear: Youll never feel in which gear you are. You have to remember in which gear you are.
3.Mileage: I feel its about 45-50 kmpl, I think its okay for the city ride.
4.Breaking: The only thing I feel good about bike. You can drop from 103kmph(my highest) to 15kmph in very little time. But be very care full.
5.Service: After service from TVS service station, I feel like I paid my hard earn money to get "Water Wash".
6.Electrical Problems: Most of the time youll be in a loose contact. Going back to Gear problem, "Neutral" indicator will be off to put you in a mode that you are "Not in Neutral".
- Rear Seat: Its only good for "Girl Friend", who is always ready to hug you, otherwise, rider has to carry the weight of rear seater.
8.Pick up: Forget about that.
My humble request is please dont go for TVS, at least Apache RTR 160.
In my view, before buying a bike,
1.Please check for vibration start point. .I am feeling irritative to ride bike because of this.
2.Parts availability and cost,
3.Mileage,
4.Breaking,
5.Service Quality.
-thx,
Shivu.
