I’m plannin to buy a 150cc bike and so I test drove three bikes today- apache, unicorn and pulsar.
Apache was stunning to look at among the three. though unicorn produced a lot less sound, apache had an engine sound similar to one of those superbike. it’s amazing.
the gear combination is similar to that of unicorn. 1-down and 4-up.. the shifts are very smooth compared to pulsar. the gear lever is inclined at approx 140 degrees compared to the flat one of unicorn which helps in easier shifts using the back heel of the foot.
it has an amazing pickup compared to the other 2.
it scores over pulsar and unicorn in style, and scores over pulsar in engine performance and gear-box.
Apache I presently available only in 4 colours. classic nero (greyish black), fiery rojo(red),
pure azul(blue), burnished argent(silver)
the red one looks terrific, the blue cud hav been a bit darker. classic neo is like he ’’black’’ of unicorn and the silver one looks good with the black alloy wheels.
the fuel tank looks like a bit projected to the sideways . but that adds to the stunning look of the bike..
it’s as if TVS hav taken bits and pieces of details of other bikes and thus made this one..but whodeva, it’s AMAZING and i’m surely gonna buy it..
