I bought my Apache RTR 160 FI back in 2008. It was my first bike. My first love. I had the most unique bike back then. Well, mostly cause it was painted Orange and it had fuel injection. Fuel Injection was something not everyone knew about back then.
Apart from the awesome technical specs, this bike was a beast. 0 to 60 under 5 seconds. No other bike in the 150-160 cc category could pull that off.
Great cornering at higher speeds is something India is still lacking behind but if you try the Apache, you will know that TVS engineering is far advanced than its counterparts. Awesome styling coupled with racing stripes made this bike the best decision of my life. I loved it so much. The sound it made while I revved the engine, the racing handle was all part of perfection redefined. Kudos to TVS for making such an awesome bike.
