The apache has recently entered the market and no bike can be judged before anybody uses it for more than a year.i bought the bike within a week of its release.I am about 6 ft tall.
in my view tvs needs go back to making mopeds and scootys and leave racing etc to the experts such as honda and suzuki.Im not angry with TVS but im angry at my own stupidity for choosing this bike.
The bike loses all its "racing" qualities within 8 months.Please note that I service the bike regularly and did not cross 50km/hr for first 1000kms.if u r abt 5"8’ or above in height avoid the apache.Even I was fascinated with its performance and looks in the beginning, The bikes racing posture is a FLAWED design it will cripple ur bck within 14 months of its continuous use(i.e. upto 50 kms a day) and long drives occasionally, not to mention the vibration above 85 km/hr, it seriously feels like a bullock cart.
Please dont listen to kids who’ve used the bike only for a short while.
Finally I suggest everyone to avoid the the apache rtr and either buy the pulsar, yamaha FZ16 or Unicorn.
This is just my honest suggestion and u r free to hold ur own opinion.To me its a mistake ill never repeat by buying another TVS product.TVS lost all its expertise in bike technology after its split with suzuki and its still thriving on its borrowed tech from suzuki.
