My first Bike_TVS Apache RTR 160

I am Ashish Mehta, 23, Delhi.Recently, I purchased TVS Apache 160 RTR, I purchased it after reading so many reviews, suggestions from near ones, and all they suggested me to go for TVS Apache.I am in dilemna whether to go way with TVS or not, it was so confusing for me.previously I thought to own Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS, but the owner’s review changed my thought and later I decided to increase my budget as I am planning to own my first bike and zeroed my choice on three bikes: HH CBZ Extreme, HONDA Dazzler and TVS Apache.!

So, I started to visit the showroom one by one.i went to TVS first, Apache 160 & 180 were there to welcome me.I was impressed wid the looks and checked out the price.

After I visited HH and HONDA.CBZ extreme is far better in looks, but the Extreme is quite heavy for me compared to Apache as I am not so tall, 5.8’.

Dazzler also looks decent but its not eye catcher.

CBZ and Dazzler doesnt come wid kicker, this is the main point that was tickling my mind, In India, weather conditions are harsh, so I think we need to have kicker( my personal thinking)

finally I finalised my choice wid TVS Apache 160. .

pros:

160 cc engine, better power, performance

kicker

looks is great

Gear box is so smooth

cons:

tyres wid tubes and fitted wid TVS tyres, ( No MRF or Ceat)

My bike is Two days old, I have already completed 70 km. believe me guys, my experience is awesome till now. I know, I am not in good position to give feedback as I purchased just two days back, but will also give my reviews after 1000 kms.

The things I noticed till now:

  1. Gear shift is so smooth,

2.no vibration till 50 km( till now I havent crossed 50 km mark){ I read so many comments relating to vibrations, bt I havent experienced til now.}

3 sporty position

I will provide u my reviews after 1000 km.

Happy biking,

Ashish M
