I bought TVS RTR 160 white colour beast on 1st of jan, 2016 at Tamilnadu. Before buy, I went to show room 4 times and did test drive, every time I used to check 4 major points.
Engine performance and sounds.
Seat and sitting comfortable.
Vibrations

All the four times, The executive taken responsible and give the details which I have asked. Only drawback I felt that was vibration. When I went to ask Service manager, He given valid point about that, which means all the bikes has engine pistol situated and behind of the engine, But in apache the pistol situated in front of the engine. So the vibration should come, But we can resolve it during first service. I didn’t convinced totally, But I was ready to compromise, because of style and sound. So I planned to buy apache the same my scheduled day of jan 1st, 2016. First day itself I driven 200kms, wow, what a performance and sound. Day by day the sounds was changing which I expected.
Guys, Please don’t cross 50Kms speed until you reach 2000Kms. I understand, u cant control your feeling while you ride new apache, But if you control your feeling until 2000kms, your bike engine will set and give good performance.Now my bike is giving 60Kmpl, If you want the same mileage, u can following this kind of tips. and dont ride hills area same until 2000kms. Once you reach 2000kms, u can take apache to hills after that next day u can give your bike for service. Then your bike is set for all the stuffs. I driven my bike 1800kms yet and waiting for few hundred kms driving, Once I done, I can ready to hills.
After my first service, They solved my vibration problem, But not 100%, But surely u wont regret of this. And I feel about tyres, Because it is manufactured by TVS, I hope they can give quality machines like Apache, Jupiter. But tyre wise u should improve yourself.
Whatever it is, Apache is best bike in Racing bike segment, U can buy, U can ride, U can feel it. I can give 8/10. Rest of two for tyres and bit vibrations.
