I am only talking about 180s. I have an Apache RTR 180 2011 model. If we are discussing about performance its a monster because it is very fast. We can get 0-60 in 4.6s and front and back disc brakes offer superb braking. It is very quick up to 95, after that drops some acceleration. I got maximum speed of 130km/h but in that speed engine have bad noise and high vibration.
The term Racing Throttle Reflex (RTR) I experienced while riding this bike. Apache shows its real power when we down the gear or higher RPM, if we try to accelerate with top gear we completely fired up. It completely gives us what we need (power only). Compared to Pulsar 180 Apache is 1 step ahead. Above, I am only tells about performance most of the other features of this vehicle is bad. :-(
The main problem of Apache is, it has high vibration between 55-65 speed. I dont know why it is. If we are looking for a smooth trip, this vehicle is very bad because we try to maintain in 60s. Fuel efficiency is very poor in cities, only get 35 and in highway I get 40 dont expect more!
Tyres that give TVS is not suited for Apache. It doesnt give more confident while negotiating curves. Try to replace soon with MRF zapper. With zapper on the back, get more confident on curves, fast riding and braking.
Apache looks very small and the design of this vehicle is for small people. I am a small man so not a problem for me. If someone with long legs, riding an Apache looks horrible!
