My husband bought a TVS Apache RTR 180 bike in 2010. Since then he doesn’t change it. While I am asking for a Reason he says because of powerful engine.
It supports 1+1 seating capacity but even you can carry 3 or 4 members. It doesn’t feel anything like overloaded.
If you rides within economy It gives mileage of 45 kms/lit of petrol. But if you are a rough rider then the mileage will be 38 - 40 kms/lit
Self starter is good. Head lights and indicators are bright and durable.
Disc breaks are strong and nice.
Some disadvantages are:
Body of head lamp gets easily damaged, if bike falls on its side.
Leg guard is not strong enough.
fuel indicator is not reliable as it does not show anything now.
After driving and pushing the bike to a more higher limits for more than 4 years my husband feels that the gear ratio is not well distributed.
Road grip is good.
Bike is having strong engine but not strong body.
This bike is much more reliable than any other bikes.
Minor things to be improved to make it excellent bike.
