The Apache 200 is a handsome-looking brute that’ll grab
attention. It takes certain design cues from the Draken
concept(showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo), but TVS has
managed to keep the styling minimal yet attractive.
The 197.7cc single-cylinder fuel-injected motor makes
20.7bhp and 18.1Nm of torque. It gets a much-needed
fifth cog, too.
Plenty of power is available from 4, 000rpm onwards. It is
spread evenly through the rev range, which is good for fuel
efficiency but not so much for the fun factor. Most riders
will appreciate this nice spread of power especially while
overtaking.
