TVS Apache 200 4V Carbureted Review

The Apache RTR fans have been waiting for this bike for a long time. TVS have been struggling to increase sales figures for a long time but this has changed that.

In terms of looks, this is the best looking naked 200cc bike out there. The beautiful colour schemes with that large muscular tank with sharp extensions and perfect crevices to tuck in your legs and the nicely shaped headlamp with DRL’s ( Day Time Running Lights) look gorgeous. The shotgun silencer looks tough and sounds mean and enticing. The quality of marerials used is very good and reliable for long term.

This is a very good handling bike with great comfort for long rides and city use. It comes with optional Pirelli tires which are the best in the market and they will cost you INR 10, 000 more but the TVS Remora tires that come with the bike are just fine any give you excellent grip and inspire confidence.

The bike has been fine tuned especially for city riding and thus gives a generous torque boost at very low rpm’s, thus overtaking in the city is not going to be a problem.

The lack of sixth gear is a bit dissappointing as it will not perform upto it’s true potential on the highways.

The clutch is sharp and the gear shifts are extremely crisp.

Now it might not be the fastest 200cc bike out there but is definitely comes with a lot of features and good enough performance and with a very low price tag of INR 88, 000 ex-showroom, it is sweet deal and the most value for money bike out there and you should definitely buy it.
