Those of you who want to buy a centra think twice. I had problems , with the engine coming in for overhaul during the warranty period in less than 15, 000 kms done.
Now after it has done almost 22000 kms its making a strange noise, which on showing the dealer, have been informed that the engine has to be opened up again as the kit has gone bad which I guess is the piston etc which will cost something around Rs 4000/- to repair again.
The reason given to me by the dealer for this problem occuring again is that I have not done the regular servicing on time and have been speeding over the limits of the bike ( the reason for the first time the problem occuring is not known to me )and mind you I never go beyond 50 kmph. Yes the servicing was delayed by a 1000 kms but can you imagine the plight of people who are unable to service the vehicle ontime and have to shell out so much money for the same.
I really miss my Rx 100 which never gave me such problems and I had the engine change done only after 1, 00, 000 kms and the servicing was done after 4000 kms only
