Hi, I got my bike in December 2004... MH12-CP47 (Black)
It was the so called VTI technology which attracted me to this unknown gizmo....luking out for dat gr8 average.
Within the first 5 months, the clutch cable broke out.I had to replace the whole cable along with the casing at a whopping price. I was not even satisfied with the service centre (yash automobles, hadapsar, pune)....after my first service I found the indicator buzzer hangin out (additional accessory from the same service centre).Second service had the buzzer fused out completely...and the mechanic refused to accept the blame.
the speedometer cable gave up after 15 months.
The horns have a recurring problem.My indicator bulbs blow out with cheerful succession.
In a city like Pune, I manage an average of about 60kmpl with xtra premium wjhich seems to be fine as compared to other bikes but nothing close to the VTI claims.
To summarize a bike not worth spending on if you are luking for Mr. Perfect.
