Many have written of past experiences with the TVS Champ. Heres a current one. Ive had this for the last 8 years, and it still starts in the first kick. The only yearly maintenance that I do is clean spark plug. Big wheels are a blessing in the bad holed roads of Blore, and its light weight is very easy to manoveur, especially on rainy days. Though its old, I still find it very reliable.
Disadvantage with other popular 2 wheelers today, especially for women is that theyre oto heavy to push even a short distance. Suppose 5 mts to mechanic shop, or in rains to a shelter...Mileage has now come down a bit, but I plan to clean the engine and do get some boring done. So that should do the trick. However, the later models 2000 were not that good.
Mom got that one and had huge troubles almost every 2 months and we just sold that. Spare parts of the later models not the same quality as of 1997 models original.
