Hi Guys,
I bought a Fiero FX one year back. 19th July 2004 to be precise.
i was with Wipro earlier an was staying in Bommanahalli. I shifted the company and my office is at Cunningham Road now. That means I had to cover 32 kms a day officially :(.
Hence within 1 year my bike covered about 15, 000 kms. Thankfully I shifted to Koramangala now :).
My experiences -->
Likes (Whats Good)
1)Apart from the slow speed problem earlier, I never had no take it to workshop other than for routing service.
2)Minimal maintenance cost
3)Abselutely no starting troubles
4)Till now the vehicle never stopped because of some complaint in between.
5) Mileage is unique though it is very low :)
Dislikes(Worst)
1)When the bike was new my bike had a terrible problem with slow speed. It was kind of jumping all the way.
2)Service quality was really poor in Meghdoot Motors. Then I took my bike to almost all the authorised workshops, but my bike problem persisted. I took the bike to an expensive private workshop and they resolved the issue.
3)Mileage is really low. As bad as 42km/ltr
4)Lacks the 5th gear. When you are riding on the 4th gear you still lacks the power and as a driver I feel that the vehicle lacks one more gear and it is really missed. Dont know why TVS decided against this. This is an enginnering disaster from their part
5)Suspension is not good
6)Vehicle skids on sudden brake.
7) Lacks power. you wont feel the power of other 150cc bikes
Over all this is a good bike for daily use.
