I am using TVS Flame disc version from April. In my experience this is a good bike with many advantages and few problems.
I finished my first servicing, and nearing to my second service, bike run about 1500Km.I am getting a mileage of 55 - 58 km in bangalore( If I fill petrol for Rs 100/-, I will get nearly 100km)
I read the reviews entered here. I strongly oppose some reviews written here (also doubt about the reviewer’s aim).
As they mentioned in the reviews, there is no problems with battery or self start(except only 2 times I started using kicker, which is before 1st service and in morning),
It has decent power, and Max speed I attained was 95 km/hr with lots of jerking and vibration. Above 55 km/hr it starts to vibrate and after 70 vibration will increase. This is bad, I think most of the 125 cc bikes will vibrate in these speeds( gladiator is an exception )
The cabin above petrol tank is of very useful. Some reviews mentioned that tyre quality is bad, I dont know actually about the tyre quality, but I havnt felt any tyre slipping upto now.
mileage indicator we can avoid but clock is of good use( One problem is clock always run slow, in 1 month it will be slowed by 10 - 15 minute so we need to correct the timing once every month)
bike balance is good seat is also cushioned atleast for me,
Bike sound is good like some 150 cc bikes
weight is moderate which is comfortable for me as it is easy to park and take back.
I feel gear ratio is not greate, first gear max speed is very less, I have to change to 2nd gear as soon as it started moving,
I think I become little bit supportive to the bike, this is because some of other reviews was just giving wrong data.
