I purchased this on 18.3.2015 after a lot research.At first I wanted to buy mahindra gusto with almost same features with styles but due to unavailability of sales service spares I thought of tvs jupiter.It cost me exactly 60000/- including rto registration, onetime road tax, insurance and accessories worth 2800.I didn’t opt for extended warranty.
To come to the bike, Its look is perhaps best when you assume honda activa as the standard.From a distance it is difficult to distinguish both.But when you come close and see it is amazingly designed.
I have driven activa aswell so I felt the sound is smoother, BUT when one day I rode with a pillion I heard a sound coming from somewhere from below.It was like some small metal or may be bolt or some hanging part hitting another part.
You can say a chime giving out tingling sound once every second.I was annoyed.Tried to find out the loose part but couldn’t.When I rode alone it was okay again.I tell you that one of my friend had warned me about this particular disease of this scooter but I thought it was his misconception.But now I know it is true.I had also read about this ghost in blogs and reviews.
So I am disappointed as I hope it will never be repaired. Coming to services.There is no charging port or socket as advertised.SO please don’t get lured.when I asked where the charging port exists they showed me a place under the seat with a round mark.They said it is to be cut and special accessories has to be fitted to make it useful.Then I ordered the accessories and asked the price.They replied in negatives.
Mileage, Early to say as I have not done the first servicing.But I filled it for rs 300 and it filled fully.Now after driving110 km the meter shows half empty.So it is perhaps giving 40 km now but likely to improve.
SO, It is completely at your discretion you go for it or not.
