Hi All, My bike crossed 4000+ kms. I use this for my daily travel to office, 40 km daily. getting a mileage of 55 Km after third service.
This commuter segment bike fits the class perfectly with no flaws. My previous bike was discover 135 bike, ( wonderful bike), but had to sell be-cos of my back ache. I have no back ache complaints with Phoenix, the series suspension works real effective.
Pick up in city is real good, I always see my bike leading after the signal. Pick is real good. TVS has designed the first and second gear to provide the initial drift to lead the traffic conditions.
My expectation in a bike was:
1) 125 cc( good for mileage) 2) road grip 3) smooth suspension 4) covered chain 5) good height 6) disk break 7) above all, all the things should fit in my budget. -> Phoenix had all of them, after a long review I chose this bike, and I am really happy about the product.
What are other bike I compared before buying Phoenix.
1) unicorn( didnt fit my budget).
2) shine( I was bit bored with it /secondly friends review was not good).
3) Bajaj 125 ST( I was about to buy this one, the showroom finance guys messed it up, more ever I didn’t like the open chain in it, otherwise a great bike to have.)
What could have been better in Phoenix ->
1) The first and second gear is bit hard, but I found after third service its better.
2) Fifth Gear would have been a plus.
