I was using Splendor for the last 10 years with no problems. I decided to change my bike with latest design and I opted for TVS phoenix. I am happy with the performance of this bike. The ride quality, engine sound and pick up of the vehicle is good. For family men who opt to keep their children on the tank, this bike is little uncomfortable becasue the knee of the child gets hurt with the switch panel on the handle and it becomes difficult to turn the vehicle.
ON the Mileage front for the first month it gave me only 45-50km/l in the Chennai city traffic (40-50km/Hr and I travel about 20kms perday) and even after the first service the mileage hasn’t improved. My bike has run about 1000kms on date and I hope that the mileage may improve in the days to come.
My suggestion would be the bike is good in quality ride but for mileage conscious people I don’t recommend it.- Krishnan, Chennai.
