TVS Scooty. The time it crashed into the Indian market, the target was the lower and the upper middle class. It became an overnight sensation. It was a boon for girls who couldnt exercise their body weight on the heavier vehicles like Kinetic Honda. Not only this, being a under 60 cc vehicle young lads below 16 years could drive it without being afraid of the traffic cops.
TVS Scooty had to face several competitions but came out winning the nuggets. But as the era progressed, several new scooterettes plunged into the vast Indian market and gave a good brunt to TVS Scooty. I also have an TVS scooty ES. For those of you who dont know what ES stands for, ES implies Electronic start.

My Experience.
Ive been riding TVS scooty ES for 3.5 years now. Earlier it used semi-centrifugal clutch but now it employs automatic centrifugal clutch. As far as my experience is concerned, it gives you good result for the first 6 months with reasonable average. Its not recommendable for long run and at the end of 1 year, the entire step through construction vibrates a lot and produces chatter. In rainy seasons, it betrays us like judas and you find yourself tolling it to the nearest mechanic. The case enclosing the speedometer and the headlamps produces the most irritating noise throughout the travel. On the top of it, after 3000 kms, the fuel efficiency bites the dust. Power generation is good considering the segment of automobiles it comes in and can reach up to 65 kms/hr with no pillion rider.
Good for girls who can limit themselves to the speed limit of 45 kms/hr. but certainly eyeing at its price tag, its expensive and doesnt prove its worth. I do not recommend it to the consumers and advise them to invest their bucks in some other vehicle.
