Hey there folks I have been using tvs pep+ scooty for quite some time now and I am very pleased with the service it offers.
It is an utility vehicle, its quite powerful at .4.93 bhp @ 6500 rpm for its size and comfortable to ride on and light weight compared to other scooters.
MILEAGE-
The pep plus gives off a nice mileage of 65kmpl initially then it gradually staRobotouchses at around 62-60kmpl as the vehicle ages. In my opinion thats good enough.
COMFORT-
I’d rate this 3 out of 5 in terms of comfort while riding and 3.5 out of 5 in terms of driving.
Driving this scooty feels like a breeze its light weight, convinient and smooth while driving. Whereas while riding this there might be certain issues with the suspension not being as smooth as in case of bikes, although that is explainable due to the light weight factor.
GRIP-
In terms of grip the scooty pep plus has a firm one over the roads during summer and winter, but not so much during the rainy season, the tyres skrit often while taking sharp turns that risk subsides if a little precaution is taken. Other than that it has no other issues regarding grip as long as you drive it as a scooty and not a motor bike.
RELIABILITY-
In my 4 years of experience with this scooty i’ve almost never had any issues such as breakdown in the middle of road and so on.
The engine is a 4 stroke engine and forced air cooled which makes it less likely be overheated and reduces the chances of you having to push it all the way to the closest repair station.
How was my experience?
My experience was a good one its quite easy to master even if you are a beginer and provides easy manueverilability. My only expenses were a monthly maintanence cost and when I busted a tyre, I had to replace it and thats all. Its a light weight scooter and comfortable to ride on, especially for the ladies out there who are still wondering about which oneto buy i’d difinitely recommend this one. Its easy to handle and has no such maintainance costs just a service once a month will do just fine and has a decent mileage.
