I bought Scooty pep 4 stroke in 2005 and till now I am using it. Most of the ppl were purchsing Scooty, so I didnt thought much and got this.
I was happy to have 4 stroke vehicle ( as previously it was 2 stroke and less average). Initially I was getting milage up to 60 kmpl, but over the years it reduced to 40 kmpl.
I enjoyed ride completely for first 6-8 months, we drove it in ghats and all types of roads.
After 6-8 months , it became shaky and unstable. every servicing , I used to tell them , but no authorized service center can locate the problem. Sometimes I needed to change bearings, shock absorbers , tyres, rims and what not. Finally I got acclimatised to its shaky, unstable nature.
I never found the vehicle getting better in servicing than its washing and some basic starting problems.
Overall I used it well by accepting its faults, but not really happy to drive it. Its better to use it as it gives me independence of commuting and avoiding those arrogant auto riksha walas.....
