Hi, this is my 1st review on mouthshut. I am here to talk about 125 cc segment. four bikes are there, 1.yamaha gladiator 2. tvs flame sr125 3. bajaj xcd 125 dtsi 4. honda stunner.
I have taken test ride of all 4 and to say is yamaha gladiator ss is good bike but lacks digital speedo, lacks spare part availability, and cost about 56000 on road.
Tvs flame is the best bike of all as it has all the facility that a 150cc segment bike has-it is best looking, muscular body, good ride position, good engine and has 3 valve( imagine you having 3 nose holes), good rear jumpers and tyre 100/90. I with my brother together weighing 200 kg took test ride on the bike and there was no problem at all.engine is better than apache.nice black colour given to bike.
Bajaj xcd is so-so bike, I think it as a poor bike . no looks, no grip, no refinment, only good thing is digital meter and milege. Honda stunner is a reliable bike for small kids who go to colleges, no digital speedo, wheelbase only about 1260mm. instead flame has 1320mm so it has nice grip. stunner is a go feel bike with average, fat reae tyre. So I advice to go for flame.,
