This is my 8th two wheeler in past 20 years. I recently sold Honda Activa and purchased this TVS star city Plus after reading the good reviews about it.
Mouthshut.com helped to a great extend while choosing this bike.
Purchased this bike last week on 3rd Nov 17 from Solar TVS, Opposite To R R Nagar Arch Mysore Road Bangalore.
Buying experience was really great! I have been taken to the stock yard to choose the color & the bike.
Booked around 11:20 AM and got the bike in the evening 5:30 PM.(without registration). It costed me 59000/- including the accessories.(without seat & tank cover).
I liked the hospitality from the staff. Thanks to solar TVS.
Riding experience is great!. Joy full ride I can say! Gear shifting is very neat & smooth no issues.
Engine sound is also good. Exhaust sound is awesome.
Mileage: Not checked yet.
Comfort: Very much comfortable riding. Good suspensions. Light weight.
Reliability: Super
Road Grip: I have driven on all kinds of road including high traffic areas and found this bike is excellent in all situations.
Appeal: The new star city plus i.e. 2017 model has very good shape & appeal.
The few missing things:
Should have been given additional LED light to glow all the time instead of headlight glowing all the times. Similar to TVS Victor.
Engine Kill switch is missing. It should have been there for Bangalore Traffic.
Double Horn instead of single one.
Trip meter in digital console.
I will write or update after riding 1000 Kms. With the update on Mileage.
