I recently purchase a Star City of TVS co. Its Purple color with digital sticker is aimed at people who needs a mileage bike with decent looks. Primarily I needed a Sexy Bike because of the Nexgen factor. But since the costs of Petrol are raising I was forced to decide on the mileage part. I have this bike since one month.
Its good body and change in tank shape from the previous model of TVS star is appealing. The bike is a four stroke and a mileage which is been checked is around 70 - 80 KMPL. For all those who are looking out for speed I would rather not suggest u as the pick up of this bike is slow. You can wait for a formal launch of TVS Taurus which is a 225 cc front and back disk brake bike to compete Bajaj Pulsar which is going to launch a 225 cc model which costs near a lakh.
All together it is a good and a decent bike for business man who wander in streets for marketing. Cost effective parts of TVS wins the situation when compared to the Hero Honda bikes like Splendour which I got three years bike. No matter how rash you drive youll end up paying little for maintainence when compared with other company bikes. Final verdict is its a good economical bike with alloy wheels and fancy front and rear lights which add fashion to a Rs 40, 000 + tax worth of bike.
