TVS Star City

I got my StarCity 110CC from Trigent motors, Whitefield, Bangalore in 2011. As on today my meter clocks 11000 KM. Here is my experiences

Pros:

1. Pickup is good in that range

   
   




2. Head light focus is powerful, I liked it

   
   

3, Maintenance free, Spare parts cost is cheaper than compare to others.

Cons:

1. Though Company quotes 70KMPL, I am getting somewhere 43 KMPL in City Ride after all fine tuning from various service stations. With Full tank I tested, when it reached to reserve I had driven for 460KMs

   
   




2. Cheap quality material i.e. Iron and Plastics used in the bike, Which turns to break easily.

   
   




3. Engine noise is more

   
   




4. Generates lots of heat from the engine even at short distances

   
   




5. Skids easily in wet roads and mud roads.

   
   




6. No Resale value for this bike.
