I have purchased TVS Start City on Dec 2012, This is my first review after riding 5000 km. I just bought this bike only for low price.. coz my dad’s budget s not more than 55K. I had a big confusion of what to choose between Splendor and Star City... I usually ride splendor, my uncle owned it.. So I go for a change.. I choose TVS Star City after my deep discussion with my School friend (now he’s a mechanic).. He said " go for it" without any hesitation. So I choose blindly.. Many of my friends start to scolding me for choosing Star City coz i’m just 21 years old. They told me to go for Shine, Twister, atleast Passion.. But i’m strong with my decision...
I always go to college with my bike during the final days.. I usually go with 70 to 80kmph on NH.. My top speed was 98kmph. It gives a excellent handling even at 80kmph. Now the engine is well set.. It gives a mileage of about 75kmpl at city.. I usually ride within 50kmph in cities.. I hate harsh driving.. Now my friends are in jealous of my mileage.. Coz petrol price hike... It has an excellent grip even at 50kmph on rain.. I loved that.. Excellent bike!! Also designed for youths.. It gives a better mileage than other bike.. and strong body.. This is my lifetime bike.. I’m gonna use it until it gonna stop of its own..
