Dear Friends
A bike is Indeed a subjective matter of personal preference, especially in our country, But I assume most of the Middle class people have common prefrence I, e a Bike with Fuel effciency, Comfort, Minimum possible Maintainance & Good looks. for me looks fall in the last prefered options.
It is here where the Tvs Star City Fits the Bill, Hats of to the TVS R&D team for there wonderfull effort. coming on to the Bike, I bought this bike after overcoming intial doubts about the companys product reliability namely Bikes, I have done 3000 Kms on this bike and what an satisfactory performance it has been, my routine involves riding of close to 65 to 70 kms per day in city in Varied condition right from black top roads of cyberabad to busy bazars of old city, But still i am getting a mileage of 70+ Kmpl even in such conditons. The breaks are most effective I have been able to avert lots accidents, headlight beam quality is excellent, Gear shifting is a feather touch operation,
tank capacity is massive I, e Up to 16 Ltrs, the balance and comfort of this bike is really commendable, Looks though not the best in its class but have been revamped from the earlier version of star city by adding stunning graphics, Alloy wheels, this is topped with an convnient option of Electric start.
Like every product this bike has its own "pros & cons" like the fuel gauge never ever works properly, Tyres supplied with the bike are of really poor make, vibrations need be to minimised, Also when the bike is resting on side stand it feels like it is not holding the weight of Bike,
Finally a word of caution " speed geeks may stay away from this bike, not meant for people looking for Speed & Pick up.
