This is my 3rd review in mouthshut.com I purchased my TVS star city in Jan 2009, its been more than 4 years during this time I never come across any major problem from my bike it already crossed more than 52000 KMS.
One of the advantage of TVS Star city is maintenance During 4 years once I had clutch plate problem for that I spent Rs.2000 apart from that I did not spent much amount on bike service as well. I regularly give my bike for service every 3000 KMS, Including service charge and oil change it wont cross more than 600.
Many people say TVS tyres are bad believe me I have completed 52000 KMS with same tyres till today its I didn’t face any issues at all. its all depends on how you drive this bike is not meant for racing you need to be careful at the time of taking short turn in 70 & 80 obviously you will fall no doubt in that you need to ride with sense. Itts mutual understanding between you and your bike. The way you take-care of your bike in the same way it will take-care of you.
