I have purchased Star city with alloy wheel model on 20th August 2006 fom Gulati Auto at Lawrence Road. Before this I was using Bajaj Chetak scooter. This is my first bike . This is realy a good bike in look & mileage. By look nobody can say this is just 100 cc bike. Balance of bike is very good even at the time of turning also. At present (8.9.06) only 20 days are over but I have completed almost 720 Km ride on this bike. This bike is giving me mileage of 70+KM/L at present . I am expecting the mileage to increase upto 80 KM/L after First service which is due in few days.
One thing which I do not like in this bike is its side stand , when I am using it sometimes I feels that it is not taking the load of the bike with strenth. Also I feel problem in puting the bike on central stand from left side because it not comfortable to press the projection by foot. it is almost imposible to use stand from right side. The pipe connecting engine and the silencer is getting signs of rusting in such few days , which shows that this pipe is not corrossion resistant. This pipe gives me dissatisfaction in look.
Overall this bike is very good for beginars & for those who wants good mileage & look at reasonable price.
