Fiero f2 or Pulsar 150?

Hi ppl,

I own a F2, the bike is real feast for those who are used to so called bikes like splendor, caliber etc.,

First lets see how this bike fares...

Looks :

In terms of looks, I think F2 is a blend of many other bikes like CBZ, Caliber 115, victor . Still this bike looks good n gets few admiring glances.

Ride Quality:

Can say the best in its class. No vibrations at all even above 100.

Rectangular Box swing arm really gives better stability.

Bike looks stable and planted on dry surfaces. but on wet surfaces be careful.. unfortunately the specially designed F2 tyres which have excellent grip on dry surfaces fails badly on wet surfaces, big disappointment. F2 should have been provided with tyres which have wet handling capabilities.

Power:

I was able to reach 0-60 at abt 6.4 secs, not bad at all, n was able to able to get 54 kmpl in city traffic. should bring a big smile considering its power n pickup.

N for those ppl who r still unable to make a decision between Pulsar 150 and F2, I would say both r almost equally good and scores equal points.

I would try to put a general comparison btw both bike

  1. Pulsar is better handler in traffic and agile due to its handle bar and seating position while F2 would not feel as agile as pulsar because of its wider handle bar.

  2. F2 feels more sturdy on bad roads

  3. F2 looks more like dignified, well built and well dressed executive while pulsar is like an agile, carefree, muscle popping young man.

  4. Build quality of F2 is superior to any other bike, while pulsar owners complain abt rusted parts and poor build quality.

  5. Multi reflector Halogen Headlamp of F2 is a lot better than neother bike in this category. Pulsar headlamp is quite disappointing.

6.Bajaj bikes are known trouble makers in long run, while TVS has a reputation of producing quality bikes which stays intact till u wanna throw them out or sell them.

  1. Careful riding in city traffic should easily fetch 55-60 kmpl with Fiero F2. Pulsar matches closely with mileage with an equally impressive 50 -55 kmpl in city traffic.

  2. Exhaust note of F2 is really disappointing, almost silent, while pulsar has a better voice.

’’if u want fast and furious bike go for pulsar 150 (180 would be better choice if u don’t mind low mileage) if you would prefer stable and powerful bike go for F2’’

These are my personal opinions, others might have different opinions. I would like to hear more from others...
