I have been riding bikes for the past 5 years now and the fiero f2 is the first one I owned . I did do a lot of market survey before zeroing in on this classy bike. The things I was looking for was power, mileage as well as low cost. Riding this bike for the past 11 months on the worst roads in India ( you are bound to agree with me once you travel in bangalore) I will have to agree that it has been a revelation riding on the fiero f2. The pickup is too good as well as the feeling especially when you are riding on top gear at around 50-60 kmph.
The few drawbacks I feel I have witnessed has been the mileage and top speed. I was promised by the tvs showroom executive that I would be getting around 60kmpl but unfortunately that was not to be. currently I am getting a meagre 45-50kmpl.I have complained to the tvs service center repeatedly but to no avail. then for the top speed ..i think if you are planning to ride at more than 100kmph then its better to go for the pulsar ar some other bike....since this one simply doesnt go beyond 95kmph. and then the last prob is about skidding on wet roads. really if you are not an experienced rider its better not to try riding the fiero f2 on rainy days(especially in bangalore it rains almost throughout the year anytime).the one more thing about this bike you should be careful of is the tyre pressure which should always be kept at optimum level else the mileage would decrease further.
But overall if you are going to purchase a bike with power , stability and comfort theres only one bike in the market , ie, the tvs fiero f2...but you shouldnt be too fussy about the poor mileage.
