Simply sucks

I have been using this bike since last 7 years so far(not so regular user)and always feared to ride on it. It is simply not reliable. We neverknow when it is going to stop on the road for what reason. Simply unreliable! Whenever I travel on this, I feel my life is so pathetic, I pray god why did you make me so poor, why cant make rich enough to afford a car. But the problem is not with the car or bike, the problem is the damn poor quality bike. I shelled 53000Rs on the damn filthy bike in 2002. I could afford a car by now, if I had invested the money and suffered some more time.

Here are the reasons for outrage:

The parts are cheap and unreliable. You can see the quality of each part in the over all performance of the bike.

The bike makes weird noises. It is hard judge is what is going on with in the bike.

There is always something leaking from day one. New bike or an old one, you always see loads of dust sticking to the engine because there is some kind of oil always leaking from somewhere.

It goes very hard even in the forth gear. For its engine size just 4 gears is very less and radius of the forth gear is too small.

The pickup is accelerating in first gear, so feel sudden kick when u start it. For speed lovers they feel they are on real sports bike. The happiness does not lost longer, the pickup is worse in upper gear so it takes just 4sec to reach 40km/hr using 1st and second grear. From there it takes close half a minute to reach 70Km/hr. The reason is uneven gear sizes. Ideal the radius of the gear wheel should increase uniformly from gear to gear but this one does not. For someone who does not like speed, you can not control this bike in first and second gears:(

The front suspension is too high which drastically reduces the overall balance. I have had instances of sudden loss of control when I got down from a speed breaker with little speed. For god sake my father’s Bajaj Cub scooter does not go out of control in similar case. The reason is simple the front side of the bike is too high compared to the rear. Simple sit on the rod on extreme rear end the front wheel simply leaps into the air.

There is a very high frequency of fork bend for this one. The fork is simply too long and too weak. So just plunge the bike into a pathhole, the fork bends. I am tired of correcting this several times. I finally left it without correcting and hence the oil seals broke, fork oil flew out and the fork always looks muddy.

Rare suspension never works. So you simply get kicked off the vehicle for taking a jump. I learned to keep my buT off the seat but unfortunately not my friends who sit on rear seat are not.

Cheap fiber body. Very fragile. Every time you fell down something or the other breaks. For my bike the rubber foot rest got worn out. Imagine what kind of rubber they used.

Try putting a safety gaurd to the bike, when you fell down the gaurd breaks the engine exhaust and cuts it off. The design of the exhaust pipe location is the cause of the problem. The designer lost his mind.

The handle is too big for the bike. They wanted to show off a mammoth size bike. Because of this you can squeeze it through the traffic. Thank god they have two metal bolt kind of holders on the edge of the handle to protect your hand.

The tires are the worst. They never grip on to the road. A drop of water on the road, that it your death is written for that day. I go at 20Km/hr in rain:(

Simply, they copied this from Suzuki without knowing the engineering facts about the engine, balance etc. Soit is simply a failed mission like every other one bike of TVS. They should ban this company some day.
