Rustic bike

One advantage our fathers had in buying a bike was the availability of fewer models in the market. The range was small and the decisions could be taken easily. Three years back, when I wanted to buy one, I was baffled at the number of bikes available. Hero honda with its stable of numerous bikes was topping the charts. But frankly speaking, I did not like any of the models. The old bikes, had a rustic and masculine look about them. The newer ones have lost that look and have taken a curvaceous look. Now a days, if you want a rustic and masculine bike, I think bullet is the only option. But considering the weight and the capacity, it is not easy to drive in this hectic city traffic. All my friends advised me to go for splendor. Though splendor is a very good bike, it has got that feminine and soft look. I finally settled for a max 100. Though max 100 is boxy, it has some amount of rustic and crude look about it. It is absolutely maintenance free. I think Max 100 users will agree with me. Guys like me don’t have many options. If you want a rustic bike, you have to select bullet which is tough to maneuver. I think only max 100 falls into this category.
