I own a Suzuki Samurai for the last 6 years. It IS TRULY a no problem bike.
I hardly have maintained this bike in the last 6years. I never serviced it regularly.
I have faced very few and minor problems with my bike.
And the best part is that my bike still gives me 50 KMPL. The pickup is very good.
This bike is much more powerful when compared to ANY 100CC 4-stroke bike. Of course the fuel efficiency is less. But you can’t have both in any bike.
4-stroke bikes give more mileage but less power for the same displacement(CC).
2-Stroke bikes give more power and less mileage. But 2 stroke bikes also have emission problems and need good quality petrol and 2T oil, apart for catalytic convertors.
I have always used Castrol Super TT.
The only problem with this bike is that the standard TVS tyres with which is comes is a little skiddy. Especially when applying back brakes.

My bike was giving me around 50 Kms Per Litre whenever I checked it. Then I tried a little experiment, just for the fun of it. I did the following things to my bike
Got the spark plug cleaned
Got the Air filter cleaned
Got the Chain tightened and well oiled.
Ensured that the tyres had the exact pressure by checking it atleast once in 7 days.
Thats all. Then when driving it within the city I did the following
I switched off at traffic signals.
I tried to maintain a steady 50km/hr speed where the road permitted me.
I tried not to use the brakes too many times.
Now let me tell you the mileage that my bike gave.... my friends didn’t believe me when I told them.
Its 64 kms per litre. I myself didn’t believe it at first.
Thats about 14 kms more per litre. Its like saving about 12 rupees per litre of petrol.
I was thinking of getting the carburettor overhauled. But now I have decided not to. There is a saying ’’If it works, don’t fix it’’
I don’t know much about the internal workings of bikes but I am really happy that what I did has had a very positive effect.
