Hi,
I am using this byke from june 2000. I had done mahabaleshwar and few trips to mumbai. on this bike. The last one is 2 months back.
After 6 yrs the bike has same pickup and same milage.
but few things needs to taken care of
1) Servicing after every 5000 KM. ( 250Rs/ each with Oil change ).
2) use engine oil castrol GTX Extra ( bit expensive than others ).
I am still not convinced to exchange it with any other bike. The top performance( record breaking ) is when we ( me and my brother ) climb singhgadh in peak afternoon( total weight of both of us is 190 KG odd) .
The only maintainance was servicing. And only once I had changed the tyre(rear). TVS Suzuki samuri is the best two stroke bike I had ever seen after YAMAHA RX100.
But now a days I am very much harrased by the overflow problem. I had checked it with all the mechinac I know. All of them said that its due to petrol (unleaded part of it ). due to lead part is removed the petrol had becom lighter so the float can not stop the pertol flow. ( tooo much techinical )
the simple solution is to put the petrol-cock off each time u park it. Its just a matter of habbit. and I am able to do it now. Else every thing is fit and fine.
