Hi There, I am a proud owner of 1999 model TVS Suzuki Shogun and nothing else is much exciting then this feeling. I was in school when I first time saw a man wearing a black coat, black full face helmet, last but not the least a black mean machine running down the highway shaking the road signs, blasting a poultry van, lightening a big house......This was the add on television which incountered me with this black beast oh sorry SUZUKI SHOGUN-THE BOSS! I was facinated like anything and since that day dreamt of owning one. I had a stock Shogun which was 93 model.Believe me it was awesome.It had a single speedometer which company went on to change for a speedo cum tacho meter.It was first bike of its time to have a small bikini fairing and all black treatment.It was only and only meant to beat Yam Rx 100, which dispite of attempts like Supra, Supra SS seemed impossible. It not only did that but crossed all the barriers to become the unbeatable king on the roads yes its The Boss, and still it is no issues if their are Karizmas, Pulsars, etc, etc, etc.... Now I am having a Cat Converter Shogun which is not as good as the stock one that I previously owned but gives me good performance, decent avg keeping in mind the strict green laws.
