Review about TVS Victor GLX 125

I’m owning the Victor GLX 125 for the past one year (this august is the anniversary). Overall, the bike is really cool. It is huge, with big fuel tank, aero-dynamic stylish fronts, pleasing colors, riding comfort, seating comfort and most of all, a decent mileage. The bike is extremely silent and engine is smooth.

Amidst these advantages, it does have a few disadvantages. I dont know why the bike takes so much time to start, especially the first time in the morning. It really struggles to warm up and gets going normally, once the engine warms up. After starting it for the first time you can be sure that its gonna stop again in the next few meters. It really tests my patience somtimes. I’ve been telling the service people about this issue and still nothing has been resolved. I think there is some technical issue behind it, every1 seems to complain about the same. Also, the braking isn’t that effecient...It skids a bit at the back if braked suddenly (non-disc brake version). Pickup is not that fine for a 125 bhp engine. Can do better.

Apart from these disadvantages, the bike still remains unique in its segment.

So, if you’re a person who does not believe only in power, but power and performance, it is the best bike I can recommend. It’s also designed for a family (quite easy for women to sit ...unlike raised rear seat in Pulsar), with wide lowered rear seat.

Victor GLX 125 - Value for money!
