Hi friends,
I would like to give an important information about a defect in Tvs Victor and how you can get it rectified .Eversince I bought my bike in november I used to experiance rear tyre skidding but as I was not an expert I thought that it was me pressing on the emergency brakes hard.During my first servicing I showed the problem to the service center personnel who said that there was a wheel alignment problem and they fixed it.
still the problem persisted and within 15 days I again took the vehicle back to th service center to attend to the problem. The service center personnel said something about the rim fitting being improper and said that they had fixed it.even then the problem didnot get solved.
Then my I met my Brother-in-law who too has a victor. He advised me to change the rear wheel tyre with straight grooves to a meshed groove tyre as he too had experianced the same problem and got it solved by changing the tyre.I got the tyre changed as it was in warranty.
I am glad to say that I have not experianced the problem of Rear Tyre skidding ever since.
Hence I would like to suggest to my friends who own a TVS Victor to get the same done if you have the same problem keeping in mind that tha monsoons are due within a month and the situation is going to get worse.
Hope this review helps in preventing any accidents that are just waiting to happen as I have had a close shave once on highway near thakur complex when my rear tyre of my bike skidded.
Hope someone From TVS reads this and suggests it to their marketting as these things will tarnish the good image of TVS Victor.
