Yo Dude,
Looks like you are jealous about hero Honda...!!!!!!
Four Stroke Technology was revolutionised by Hero Honda man...Mind you and I own a HH and though not a fan of theirs, your comments forces me to write something..
You need to know something before you blabber about it
1} They are the pioneers in Four Stroke Technology. TVS is a Jack of all trades but master of none, unlike Hero Honda.
2} They are the first in the Bike world to deliver Hydraulic telescopic Front Shock Absorbers
3} They are the first to introduce Disc Brakes.
4} They are the only bike manufacturers whose design is handled by the partners (Honda Motor Company Japan)
And they making money is like, They should man, because they satisfy the customers....Your VICTOR is a so tried copy of CBZ dude..The side bar for better control on Victor is taken from CBZ.
To add oil to fire, my friend works for TVS in Hosur, TN. He designed the muffler of Scooty and you know how he did it....? he took a honda Activa scooter as soon as it was designed and then copied the muffler of the silencer......He told me that his superiors asked him to do it...I bought a Passion as soon as it was launched and my friend had a great look on it because Victor was released as a competetor of Passion.
Dont tell that while Splendor was launched there was no choice of four stroke...There was kawasaki 4S...and if your damn TVS doesnt manufacture during that time, then mind you that they did not appreciate the technology of four stroke...
Im an engineer and know the functionality well...four Stroke bike is a tough design as far as the engine part goes compared to two Stroke....In simple words, four stroke bike has more moving parts comapred to two stroke, so it is not easy to remove the engine. HH has mastered this from begining and they have pioneered in it..Starting from CD100 to Passion, it is THE SAME ENGINE...(97.8 cc) improvised over the years...Now you can imagine how much of development has undergone in it....Now just dont be jealous that HH makes more money..Its simply because they deliver superior technology and the consumers appreciate it.
When I went for my last service and was awaiting my turn at the showroom, I witnessed 10 bikes being sold in 45 mins on a weekend and the ICICI guy sitting to loan them going mad...
Now Im not praising it too much, but was bit concerned when you said that they are making more money....
Anyways, I know that Victor is a good Bike and Have fun with it...!!!!
